The artist behind the pixels

Built by the artist

Art · Motion · Code · Systems

This site was not assembled from a template. John Pabrua drew it, wrote it and built it — the same hand that decides where a wash dries decides how a page behaves.

That is the unusual part. Most artists rent a portfolio. This one is a working demonstration of what he can build: an experience designed around attention, not around inventory.

What is actually here

Each painting has its own page and its own permanent address. A code printed beside a painting resolves to that painting in one step, and keeps resolving even if the site is rebuilt.

No framework, no build service, no font service, no analytics, no cookies. The whole site is files. It loads without scripting and reads without it.

A restraint worth naming: where the catalogue holds no date, medium or size, the page says so in one sentence. Nothing on this site is guessed, and that discipline is engineering, not modesty.

What he can build for you

Digital experiences for exhibitions, galleries, resorts, restaurants and events: a permanent address for a body of work, a guided visitor journey, an enquiry path that actually reaches a person, and a demonstration you can hand to a client.
